ACOSET S.p.A.
ACOSET S.p.A. is the manager of the integrated water supply system for the users living in the piedmont area of the Catania province. Through our remote control system, from Catania it is possible to control the water supply in territories among the municipalities of Nicolosi, Mascalucia and S.G. La Punta, and, in addition, the abstraction in Adrano and Bronte.
Considering the territory's features, the main communication network is based on a triple synchronous radio link, with radio RTUs in store and foward configuration to interface it with the secondary networks which have their own dedicated line in the supplying zone.
Despite its complexity, the network is totally transparent thanks to the 7 layers of the HDLC standard ISO-OSI architecture on which it's based.
