Performed Works

We made the remote control system for the abstraction and supply net of the municipal aqueduct of Catania and neighboring towns managed by the S.IDR.A.SPA..

The remote control system is based on a communication network made of many data transmitting devices. We have implemented communications on dedicated line, on commuted line and via radio. Then we have integrated the control level networks (CAN to connect the field PLCs and the evolved sensors and triggers), local networks (LAN, to connect the remote control servers) and metropolitan networks (MAN, to connect the various control sub-centres).
